Come On JetBlue - you can do better than this

I applaud JetBlue for offering some healthy, inflight, for-purchase meals - like the quinoa salad shaker. It comes in a durable plastic jar that one is directed to "shake up" to mix the ingredients. I was dismayed to find out that the container isn't recycled due to the fact that it looks like the perfect thing for JetBlue to be recycling. According to the flight attendant, JetBlue recycles some other items but not the jars (or numerous other things). Thousands of these jars must be sold every day and they all end up in a landfill. Airlines need to do better - they have a captive audience that can toss a jar in a bag; it doesn't get much easier than that.
