Thankful to find this recycle information on the Lexington MA website

So we have all seen those bag recycle boxes at grocery stores and the are usually stuffed with those thin film, single use bags that grocery stores hand out. Those thin film, single use bags that grocery stores hand out are labeled with a "4" so I was never sure that they took other numbers. The information is not listed on the boxes - again, why keep this a secret! I happened to go to the Lexington Massachusetts website, which has information on where to recycle / dispose of a bunch of products. Eureka! Grocery stores take any bag that has a triangle mark! So while I try not to buy products in plastic packaging, sometimes I want to buy a fruit that seemingly only comes in a plastic bag (i.e. grapes). Now I can at least recycle those bags that are marked 6 or 7. I keep finding that more and more packaging is recyclable - I just have to look.
